FAQs

  • CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A CSA subscription gets you produce from Kind Folk Farm, harvested on the day of your delivery.

  • The full-box includes 10 different vegetables. The mini-box includes 5 different vegetables. The produce in the box reflects the season’s bounty.

    • In the cooler months, you can expect lots of greens and root vegetables like lettuces, turnips, carrots, beets, and mushrooms.

    • In warmer months, the boxes are bursting with heat-loving vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, and corn.

    2. Bi-Weekly Mini Box - 5 kinds of vegetables every other week for $20, plus a $5 delivery fee.

  • Deliveries will be every other Sunday between 3 and 9 PM.

  • Our delivery zones encompass much of San Diego County with exceptions including some areas of East County and some areas of North County Central. Inquire through the CSA sign-up sheet with your address and we’ll get back to you.

  • We ask that customers give us a 48 hour heads up if they need to skip a delivery. Options for putting a box on pause include, simply putting it on pause (no charge), donating the produce to a local food pantry we work with (charge, and we take care of delivery to food pantry), gifting produce to a neighbor (charge, and we’ll deliver to another address within our delivery zone). 

    To cancel, either give us one delivery’s notice (so we can grab our reusable tote from you and drop your last produce delivery in a cardboard box) or make plans to return the tote to El Cajon if you don’t want a final drop.

Love kind folk farm! I am so grateful to have local, fresh, no chemical produce in my neighborhood. The farm has wonderful variety, the delivery service is super convenient, and produce is packaged beautifully for delivery. One a la carte box lasts my family two weeks and I've yet to see any vegetable spoil in my fridge (when in the proper container of course)! Oh and the salad mix from here is hands down the most delicious salad leaves I've ever tasted in my life. Soft and buttery, didn't know salad could taste like that. Thanks kind folk!
